Treatment

At Mayom Hospital Best hospital in Gurugram Haryana, Usually, an ENT specialist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) will suggest examining your nose. He can usually detect polyps by examining your nasal passages with a special instrument called a nasal endoscope, which is attached to a small flexible tube. Occasionally, a CT scan may be used to determine the location and size of polyps. The CT scan will also tell whether the polyps are coming from the nose or sinuses.  He will provide the medications that reduce inflammation and can help reduce the size of the polyp and relieve the symptoms of a blocked nose. Sometimes it needs surgery on the nose but it depends on the size of the polyp.
